Now it is time to analyze your skin and make sure you are doing all you can to prepare for that “radiant glow” on your special day. Be sure to take notes.

Without Make-Up: First, look at your skin totally clean and ask yourself these questions.

1. Are there any blemishes or discolorations you would like to conceal?
2. Any dry flaky patches or roughness?
3. Excessive dryness or too much oil?
4. Do you thoroughly cleanse your skin every night?
5. Do you use a gentle exfoliator 1-3 times a week?
6. Do you treat your skin to an appropriate mask on a regular basis?
7. Do you regularly use a moisturizer and/or sunscreen?

These are all issues that some of us give little or no consideration to, but it is never too late to start a good skin care regime. The sooner you start, the better chances you will have of having beautiful healthy skin throughout your life.

With Make-Up: Second, look in the mirror with your make-up and what do you see?

1. A foundation base that compliments your skin tone?
2. Are you getting the coverage you want?
3. Does your make-up seem flaky, matte or too heavy?

Perhaps you do not wear make-up base on a daily basis. It is highly recommended to even out your skin tone and give a “polished look” for bridal portraits and your wedding day. A sheer makeup highlights your best features to ensure a beautiful glow.
